I've a Icarsoft 930 which is specifically for JLR. Covers lots of LR models, and does read my TD5 defender codes.  It's not the best but has helped me fix a few issues previously on FL2 etc.

Been sat in the garage for about 12 months and this week I've just loaned it to someone at work  hmm.  When I get it back (asap)you are welcome to try it.

Ive got the kit specific for TD5.
IMHO, it is impossible to run these heaps of s**t without a decent diagnostic kit.
How do I know?
I got rid of my Patrol for a TD5, worst thing I ever did.
I think Ive been through every possible combination of the the Three Amigos.
About to the standard transfer box repair, getting noisy.
You are welcome to pop over and we can have a plug in.
Tedburn area.
