CCM 450 Adventure info

Has anyone got any first hand knowledge of these?

Thinking about buying one, ticks most of the boxes but its still a bit of the unknown.

Honda Rally does everything well but, for me, just feels too brittle.

Im seriously thinking about going old DR350 route!!
Leccie and kick, carbs, air cooled etc.
Im really suspicious of the latest fuel injected, brittle state of the art etc.
Fuel injection pump u/s, flat battery or busted rad in the middle of the Pyrenees seems just not what its about!
Anyone got an unabused DR lurking?
More than happy to prepare / fettle / MOT / whatever!

Thanks, been watching DRs all over the country, saw this one.
Its definitively tidy enough but too dear for kick only.
I keep looking at all the alternatives, but more and more leaning towards DR.
CCM Adventure too complicated, I think?, fuel injection, water cooled, ECU etc etc, plus very expensive to throw down a track.
I think it will be DR, bought a large tank plus a load of other bits.
I was hoping not to have to build another from the ground up, but think it will be so.

There was a DR350 kick-only bike on a trail ride today. Rider had a badger on a rocky uphill and couldn't restart it - apparently this is the norm with it. We had to manhandle it to the top of the hill and out onto the tarmac to bump start it so I don't think you really want one without an e-start Rik wink

Leccy start defo but fairly easy to add, but only practical way involves one motor from two.
Something wrong with mateys DR, one way or another, he's over richening it.
Ying tong now banging out new pumper flat slide carbs for about £36 delivered, or convential for about £28.
I bought new carb for Honda GV160, £5.80 delivered- perfect. The quality is between acceptable and good.
