A fully Pedal assisted 50MPH Electric Motorcycle

Looks like an interesting new take on Ebikes, it's clearly a motorcycle as such but with a twist, or should that be with a pedal smile

Or an electric take on mopeds. Either way, it looks good for whizzing around town on (if you happen to live/work in a town!)

and want to spend 11,850 Euros to whizz around.

It will of course need registering and insuring first.

Quite a modest power output at 46lb/ft of torque (for an e-bike)

By contrast my Honda CRM250 produces 25lb/ft so it is easy to see how quick it will be off the line

Personally I love the 59lb/ft of torque my Giant Trance produces (and this is a restricted bicycle). The way in which the motor instantly (19 milliseconds) multiplies the power output of the rider is quite addictive.

Once the requirement for an electric motor to cut out at 25 kph is left behind and the machine is classed as a motorcycle rather than a bicycle there is enormous potential so expect many more mould breaking machines in the not too distant future, especially now politicians are actively trying to shape the way we drive by setting targets and limits for future motor vehicle production

The stated aim of the govt on 19 Oct 2018 - every car and van in the UK is a zero emission vehicle by 2050
