Was wondering if anyone knew any quiet, discrete, flat(ish), open areas off-road near Exeter where one could practice slow speed skills, balancing, lofting the front etc without the impending threat of ending up in a hedge? I know some of the lanes out around Tipton/Venn Ottery are quite wide, and there is a patch adjacent to the hill up from Sidbury to East Hill, but both of these have a fair amount of traffic from walkers etc.
