As the above title 192-019 Trebblehays, blocked, overgrown, can't get through 

Posted in this section of the forum for inclusion & to bring out the mighty DTRF from the shadows or lurking afraid of being seen to do good things wink

Western end to the gate, blocked as usual....the volunteers cleared this one just before Covid 

Trail riders are loosing the use of green roads, other roads are becoming dangerously overgrown to the extent they will become impassable - sorry I don't understand why you would kill your own hobby 

Thanks to Delvey for the photos & making me aware of the situation, thanks mate smile

So any interest then.......

 Please please listen & understand there is NO excuse for a public right of way being overgrown

Yes you can take a tractor mounted flail to it any time of the year!!!

Next Wednesday would be okay with me. The 9th. I think we would make quick progress with a chainsaw/hedge trimmer. If we could get 4-5 of us its probably only an hour or 2 maximum I would say ! I could be there for 6:30

I can't find this lane, as I am looking to see if I am close enough to make it worthwhile coming to help.
I have a petrol strimmer? Any use?

EG GRM I type in the search for GRMUID either 

trebblehayes - nothing found
treblehayes - nothing found

192-019 - nothing found apart from some lane in Scotland..

I reckon the video highlighted the state of the green road more effectively than a still photo, such a shame to see them neglected to a state that they can't be used no what's happening to the hobby?

 Sorry I've just had someone switch around work today as they can't make this week no what about the following week Jack, 30th or another evening where we can attack this one biggrin

However I might be finished in time but probably wouldn't feel like it after a 12 hour stint on the 23rd  bleh

Rode Trebblehayes today, Great lane now its been cleared. No cows aswell so was able to take the correct route through the farm

Excellent riding & reporting back Jack, Thanks mate, that gate needs sorting at the lower end mate, I'll carryon with my search for a narrower gate and ask our gate man to help install a different one which will make it easier to open smile

Yes the gate is a pain. The Cows have been rubbing on it and the string wasnt actually attached as you can see in the video. Definitely a good idea for a new gate! Relatively trouble free otherwise

A great video Jack.

Your videos (and those from Ash) are a great addition to GRM, and are much better to give a feel for the lane than my descriptions or some still photgraphs. Especially for Treblehayes where some riders

are put off from riding the official legal route because of where the barns have been built.
