Possible new forum for TTR250 owners?

I have had a few complaints about the clunky nature of the Yahoo TR250 Group and so I have been tinkering with a Sparklit version that allows users to easily post up pics etc and follow threads more easily - just like this one in fact see http://ttr250.activeboard.com/

Any TTR owners out there fancy joining up and making a few posts to test the water?

Great - Brian "Dynamo" TTRFAN.

Where do you find 25 hours in a day, Brian?

You will now have to put links up to the other TTR250 web pages.

Thanks for your support guys!

In terms of time available to me Cubber, it has been much curtailed since a couple of ruffians descended on TTR Manor this week and started to tear the place apart - recognise 'em? No, I didn't mean Mrs TTR hard at work cleaning slabs and preparing the ground - I meant the other two wink

By heck - tha's almost got 'em jumping in at' deep end 'ant tha? biggrin

It's good to see that they are both gainfully employed and not idling their time away by trailing Devon's lanes. no

I'm in the same boat as Steve and will post in the TTR250 forum when sanctioned.

Thanks for signing up guys smile

I need your feedback in case I set the forum up wrongly.

I set it up so that users are registered without my interference using the so-caled "CAPTCHA" syatem - see below. Can one of you let me know if you are registered by perhaps doing an introductory message please?

TTR

CAPTCHA Verification - An image of scrambled letters will be shown and the user must type the letters into a text box. This process helps block spamming scripts/bots, and is more convenient for the user than email verificiation.

Brian
Great as the new forum is I'm afraid it's not letting me post!
I went through the registration procedure yesterday, created my details and even put up an avatar, but when I try to post a message in the Welcome page it says "You do not currently have permission to post on this forum. "
Perhaps that's why all the posts are by a chap calling himself "TTRfan"
Martyn

Nice forum there Brian.

I think colour scheme needs a little work though. Blue on white background is a little cold, why I needed to put my jumper on by the 2nd post.biggrinwink

Thanks - it now seems to be working OK.
These technicalities are a tad awkward at times.
