The chap that bought my sidecar outfit after I returned from Mongolia met someone from Devon at the Horizons Unlimited meeting in Malvern last week. If you fit his description below could you e-mail me as he wants to know what tent you were using?
He was camping in a tipi and I would dearly like to confirm what model he was using ( my guess is a tentipi safir cp7 ) as it seems ideal for the trip far north. He was riding a recent blue 660 tenere with metal mule boxes and touratech screen addon, touratech lights. Shortish, black hair, 30's lives up a lane, used to travel with his wife, now has young children..
My tent is a Tentipi Onyx CP7 - with a comfort floor. Hope that Helps him. Im also selling it for £500 (cost over a grand complete) as I'm off to Oz if he's interested. Harty is keen but no firm bid as yet!
