Hi everyone.  Please take a minute to read the below...and make my girlfriend very happy...I can only do so much

Early this year my partner began an organisation called The Devon Carousel Project.  The organisation is a resident and family-led, multi cultural, intergenerational, collaborative community arts initiative, providing high quality participatory arts and environmental education to Under 5's and their families who may not have otherwise had access.

Parents/caregivers and early years professionals will be encouraged to develop their creative skills and confidence to share ideas, embedding these into their daily practice to nurture the potential of our youngest children to develop socially, physically, intellectually, creatively, culturally and emotionally as families. Working creatively to nurture self-expression, confidence and good communication skills will stir both parent/carer and child's imaginations and improve the adult-child bond.

We have had such a successful summer and are kicking off a great Autumn term. 

 However, WE DO NEED YOUR HELP! Recent cuts in funding to arts organisations, children's centres and play development teams across Devon have resulted in the significant reduction of affordable arts, culture and play provision for young children and families.  So, please help us secure funding from the Natwest Community Force grant by going to this link http://communityforce.natwest.com/project/5302 and voting for us- The Devon Carousel Project.
