TTR Insurance

Been running some insurance quotes just out of curiousity and I've noticed that ttr 250 is never appearing in the drop down lists where you put the model in.. It takes Yamaha and it takes the year it just doesn't seem to know the ttr exists... Are they that boring?

Am I being stupid?

Some (very few) TTRs were officially imported circa 1994 but the majority of "official" TTR imports were in 2004/5.

Never had a problem getting quotes.

eBike are usually tops but that is for a 4-bike policy. Bennetts were best for a single TTR.

I had a few hassles with the Raid, but rang the fella I was buying it off and asked him who his insurance was with- Bennetts
Gave them a ring and job done (I dare say the lack of comp is reflected in the premium)

The TT250R is an almost identical bike if not the same. Many sites refer to this bike instead of the TT250R that we know.

Carol Nash will cover any grey imports. I'm paying £130 full comp for the DRZ E and CBR both are classed as grey imports.

Remind her of the research published in TBM suggesting that trail riding was as effective as gym membership for raising fitness levels.

Gotta be worth a try...

Mine is just happy to get me out of the way for while.aww

She also put me on a diet last Feb, and pushed me in the direction of the local gym.

Still, I'm almost 3 stone lighter now, none of my jeans fit anymore and I've become too light for my rear shock! - great!

It not cool when you can't get your race & static sag set right anymore.wink

they will have them on ebike. I had the same problem when i bought my 1998 white TTR.

Delvey is right it is to do with them not being officially brought into the country until 2000-2001 and they were all blue models.

Ebike have it on thier lists and its cheap insurance too.

he's only 19!
I however too have found ebike to be a bit expensive after getting an online quote . is it because the TTR is an enduro bike ? Can't remember what they wanted but it was quite a lot more than I pay for my 650 dominator which surprised me .

Nothing I swear, 19y/o male, no points, no convictions (motoring or otherwise..) 0 no claims though as that's being used on my Bandit... Bike is kept garaged overnight and only used on weekends with no commuting usage.

I HATE INSURANCE.
