I have seen a few set up like that, but put off by the fiddling with the lid to access screen.

My windscreen mount works on my screen but too long and obscures my speedo, hence my search for short arm.

I fitted mine a treat inside the screen, I seem to recall I took the windscreen mount apart (unscrewed it) found a long bolt to replace the one with a plastic knob on. Then I seem to recall removing one of the screen fitting screws at the bottom, replacing it with the longer bolt with the RA mount fixed on the inside of the bottom of the screen - neat, tidy out the way and it worked.

May have some pics - I'll have a look.

Thanks jt, it sticks remarkably well on the screen, just comes out to much, I'll get my thinking cap on (but any piccies would be helpful)
