Only a piss take Doug. I just recall my siggie mates sat in a 5 Star hotel in Bahrain of all places, during the Gulf war and getting a medal! In fact they were also issued Desert combats before us, whilst we were on the Iraq border in our Arctic gear for 6 weeks no
