Trickle chargers

Just for info, lidle in Plymouth are doing optimate style trickle chargers with 6v and 12v car and bike in one. Around £13. Still using one bought 4 years previously and still works fine. In the gumph they seem to have a similar charge / discharge cycle to the much more expensive ones but no guarantee. Not necessarily recomended but they also have metric Allen key sets made from chrome vanadium at £5.

Ive had 2 chargers and they both broke after about a year (one from Aldi and another from lidls) _ i'll not be getting another! I like their tools tho.

Doesn't one or both of them do a 3 year warranty?

Mine was in a damp garage, dropped etc but still going strong.  Maybe lucky.  Your right, everything except fresh milk seems to have a 3 year warranty!

You get what you pay for but sometimes they have good stuff.
