FedEX spam - anyone else?

Anyone else getting spammy emails purporting to be from FedEx with attachments?

No, but don't open the attachment - just delete them!

They go straight into my junk folder anyway.  I've had a few recently, just wondered if I was a terrorist target.

If you open the attachment it will unload a nasty bug that is a little tiresome to get rid of. Not difficult, but a pain.
We deal with Fedex on a daily basis, and they do not send attachments, only PDF or CSV documents that are plain to see.

Unlikely I'm afraid. It's not from them, and tracking down the true source would be nigh on impossible. It might even be coming from your own machine as part of a worldwide 'bot-net' if you have become infected previously.

Sorry!

Just be sure to keep your anti-virus up to date, and run Antimalwarebytes regularly.

Oh, and try not to go to those dodgy sites! (In reality, viruses these days are just as likely to come from innocent-looking sites, or well-known sites which have been hacked.)
