Im looking to take my youngest out camping over the summer holidays (or may be just before) to give him his first taste of Green Laning combined with an overnight camping trip and im looking to make it a bit of an adventure with hopefully a camp fire by a river for that great outdoors experience.
Question:
Can anyone recommend a location on or near Dartmoor which allow camp fire and is near a river??? Albeit the camp fire is the bigger draw
Hi Andy, you can camp on most places on Dartmoor if you see the above link, as for a camp fire a big no, no! But if you need some heat to survive the night, who's going to complain
Just look at the map and pick your spot, that's what I do when I go 'Man Camping' with my lads on Dartmoor.
