KTM help


does anyone know anything about the ignition curve options and auxilery springs to change the power ??

Is it a 200 or 250+ ? If its a 200 it doesn't use different springs, there's an adjuster. 250s and above have 3 different colour springs for PV adjustment. Not sure about the power curve switch on 2007 bike as my 2005 didn't have one but my 2008 does. Advances the ignition a touch I believe. Not actually that noticeable on the 200 unless you are really on it.

its an 07 exc 250 2t.  What does it do or how does it feel before and after?

according to my owners manual there are 5 different coloured springs. or are the sx ones not applicable on my bike?

id say the dual map is a waste of time on a 2 hunny anyway what are you trying to do tame it down ?

There was a thread on the UK KTM Forum not so long ago. Do a search on there for all you need to know.

what exhaust have you got fmf fatty or gnarly ?

 

would of thought a stiffer spring would make the valve open later taking the edge of the band

 No not really, just want to know. Im fully kitted out with a full fmf system, high flow filter and v force 3 reed system so if i wanted a tame bike i bought the wrong one!!  I just herd that changes can help get better traction in rougher slippery conditions and can give you better power hits for the mx or dry track
