think they have a dr650 engine but finding a gear changer that will fit is a bugger !

myn is abit wobbily and would rather just replace it that it fall offno

please help cheeerrrsss :)

Its not a dr650, but a Suzuki XF 650 freewind.

Freewind is a completely different engine, having a different head and twin carbs, higher compression etc.

Have owned all of them over the years.

yhh alot of people have been debaiting this.. but aperantly the freewind is the same as a dr.. but still finding a gear changer is killing me lol !

i've got a 97 dr650se post a photo of yours and i'll compare it to mine. The ccm r30/freewind engine was also used in the sachs roadster but they still get the 3rd gear issue so the gearbox could be the same.
