Exeter Falcons

Anyone know what's happening?  There was talk a year or two back (on here I thought) about a new ground and for some reason a question popped into my head to find out what's going on.  The usual websites don't have the answers....

All the plans were to go up to the old training ground at haldon hill, pretty much all been acepted until the fire and rescue recuperation centre for injured fireman put a stop to it. I heard that the guy organising upset a few people along the way and he had money troubles and this is why it got stopped, recently heard that it will still go ahead at somepoint as the main man is no longer involved and a new commitee has taken over but this is only heard through the grape vine so cant confirm this. It would be nice to see them have a team again and get racing. The old track at the county ground was one of the most feared tracks because of the speeds that can be reached. I think exeter was at its best back in the late 80's with colin cook, the days of ivan mauger etc etc
