Just to let you all know the annual Beer Regatta starts this Saturday 11 August for a week, as usual roads will be closed at odd times, the bike parking space by the Anchor becomes the Scouts hot dog stall , and the cafes on the beach will be heaving.  Regatta day proper is Thursday and will no doubt be its traditional drunken affair.  So just beware if you are planning a ride out to Beer in the near future. 

Dolphin Hotel friday 17th couple of live bands on stage in the carpark, but no Banjos

I can remember going to quite a few Beer Regattas (Thursday night type) but I can't remember leaving any.biggrin

 That goes for an awful lot of other people as well, quite a few dont leave and wake up where they fell the night before.
