FREE Grease (at the club meet on 11th) - bring a container

Roll up, Roll up. I've half-inched a 25kg pale of premium quality grease as used in the assembly our precison bearings (I work for The Barden Corporation that make bearings) I've asked FUCHS/Silkolene (who are our fluid management company) to give me a quick comparison to their Pro RG2 Race Grease that is popular with dirt bike enthusiasts and they tell me it's very similar and could be used for all things that the Pro RG2 would be used for.

No need to PM me or anything like that as I'll be bringing it to the meet on Tuesday night so people can help themselves so bring whatever type of container you have - jam jars, ice cream containers, whatever! - and take as much as you like as I need to get ride of the stuff! I'm sure a small donation to the clubs coffers would be appreciated should you be feeling generous wink

(BTW - I'm no theif, the metal pale was damaged in transit so was replaced FOC by the manufacturer and work were going to sling it so I said I know a a group of people who may appreciate something like that for free - who wouldn't in this day and age!! biggrin)

Your timing was very good. I don't buy grease very often but I had to scrape the bottom of the tin last week and am very grateful to have been able to refill it for free. Yet another (unforseen) benefit of being in the TRF. I used a fair bit yesterday and the CCM suspension linkages won't be squeaking again for a while.

Thanks again Geoff
