I see argos are selling a whole range of similar Fuji cameras for the same price.

My mate has one of the Fuju tough cameras and it take very good picture & video.
Also water & bash proof.

A word of caution.  I've got a similar model and they suffer from battery drain when not in use.  If I charge the battery fully and leave it in the camera it will be completely flat within 3 weeks with absolutely no use.  It's been back to Fuji and it was returned having had a "new battery and been soak tested".  It's exactly the same as it was before it went for repair.  The work around is to remove the battery when the camera is being stored - not ideal but it works.

On the plus side it takes good pictures.  So long as you plan in advance.

 Those are £130 though cry

After a video I took last week was almost un-watchable I'm looking for a better camera for the lanes.

I've tried cheap ones, they don't last any time at all no

I want to spend under £100, is there anything any good for that price? I'm not expecting top quality images for that money but there must be something half decent available hmm.

I dunno Steve, when it comes to a camera for laning I try to find multi-use devices to cut down on the amount of stuff you need to take.
Some phones have pretty good camera's now and take full HD video too.

My mrs needed another 2nd phone for horse riding after she put here last through a wash cycle...

She picked up a Sony Vivaz at a good price used and that takes pretty good pictures & vid.

Pictures: 8 MP, 3264x2448 pixels, autofocus, LED flash

Video: 720p@24fps, continuous autofocus, video light

I'm not sure how it bahaves in low light though, and having no optical zoom can be a pain.

For free, it's ace.  Seriosuly, I've only taken a few indoor snaps and they seem OK.  It's not ruggesdised or anything and is quite plasticky and not the first camera I'd take laning, but I guess for £40 it's not a huge hit.
