Pipe/Bar bender

Hi Has anybody got a pipe bender that I could borrow to put a slight bend in my sidestand. It's a Gasser the OD is about 17mm, can't tell the wall thickness. Torbay area if possible smile Cheers and thanks.

Your best idea would be to find a local plumber/gas engineer, we all carry tube benders, designed for copper or light alloys I think ud get away with, they come with a guide aswell so u can't put a kink in it, it's designed for 15mm tube though so it might be a bit tight, alternatively there's 15mm bending springs as a cheaper option, these support the inside wall of the tube whilst bending them by hand.

Hi Jamie, thanks for the reply. I can't use a bending spring as the end is welded.

Thanks for the offer smile , I will try to find someone a bit more local. If not I will have a ride out in your direction. Cheers Nick
