someone is getting us decent riders a bad name

Taken from todays evening herald.

POLICE are appealing for information after a walker was assaulted by off-road motorcyclists.

A group of bikers were travelling down a bridleway near Double Waters in Horrabridge at about midday on Sunday.

PC Dave Pickles said: "A walker spoke to them about where they were riding, a scuffle broke out and the walker was allegedly assaulted by two of the group. He suffered minor bruising and grazing. They did not take off their helmets so there is no description of them, but they are not believed to be local."

Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting reference JT/1357.

very wrong on behalf of the bikers if that is the whole story, however it wouldn't be the first time a disgruntled walker has embellished
their story to aide their cause !

Funny how the papers never report on 'farmerblocks public byeway with trailer' or 'horse causes obstruction on road whilst publicly defecating' or 'rambler verbally abuses innocent motorcyclist whilst wielding a walking stick in an offensive manor'

Sounds like a load of made up waffle. If they couldn't see faces for helmets they would have got some detail of the bikes like the colour for starters

There are four or five Bridleways that converge at Double waters, which is the point at which the rivers Walkham and Tavy converge, hence the name.
Two of these begin at the north and south ends of 201-038.
I wonder if the 'bridleway' is 201-038?

Tossers with crossers eh? Whatever next.

Good PR for GLEAM

And us, if we play it right.

It could benefit us the distance ourselves, and seek clarification or the actual site, by offering our help.
