I want some more security for my bike due to high number of thefts. Any one recommend anything? I already have a disk LoJack, ground anchor and chain! Might buy another anchor and chain as well. Maybe a lock with a built in tamper alarm.

I have a ground bolt and Chain and a large Discovery parked against the door and a baby alarm to warn me if anybody gets past that lot and a baseball bat by the bed to make sure they don't escapeCause I think an English man should be able to protect his Castle against SCUMBAGS
Mines in a garage, up and over door with two Pacri bolts on it, on my hydraulic ramp, jacked up, Oxford chained to ramp..it's only a 12 year old XR..but it's MY XR..

If you chain the bike to anchor it then try to fix it high up - if the chain lays on the floor bolt cutters can be stood on to break the chain, not so easy if they have to hold the cutters with both hands
If you have an up & over door then anchor the door at the floor (padlocks) so even if they push the door off the runners it still stays in the way.
Disk locks are also good, one saved my bike a few years back (from three 15 year scum buckets), it was the only security I used back then but was effective.
B&Q do a 110 decibel wireless battery alarm. Easy to fit, works with a movement sensor, simple key fob remote for on and off, and runs off batteries. Think is was £27. Won't stop them, but will make sure everyone knows about it, then use Russell's baseball bat.

I did also have a B&Q shed alarm fitted in my garage, this consisted of a small but loud siren, key switch with 9V battery within and a magnetic switch for the door - very effective and only about £10 I think.
Another thing I was going to do (but didn't get around to doing), was to use a remote door bell system but fitted to the garage door.
My garage was not connected to my house so I was going to wire the battery powered door bell part to a magnetic switch on the garage door, then have the plug in receiver in my house (similar idea to the baby monitor). That way whenever the door was opened the door bell would go off and alert me.
