Not a new bike fan - but saw one of these in the flesh out side Bridge yesterday and it looked lovely smile

Did the engine look unusual as the cooling design is new for emissions ?

Tis the first air cooled in line four for some time I believe.

 No looked like any old 4 air cooled 4 pot....

In my humble opinion I would say the XJR 1300 engine looks far better in the retro league the Honda looks almost like the cb900f which didn't realy live up being that good I remember bleh

Well all I know was I was driving along, saw it and turned round to park up get out and have a look - not many modern bikes make me do that wink

I like what BMW have done on the new 1200 GS, still air cooled but also water cooled.

This would allow for smaller more discrete radiators while still providing adequate cooling and not over heating the oil.
