I have done 45,000 miles on my bike without any TPS problems, and yes it does have a cover on it.

The TPS is on a CB400SFVR, ridden in all weathers and never missed a beat, but I ride a CRM250 off tarmac.

I know on the 2011> Ktm they had a few probs until they put a cover on it. But the cover costs 3.34£ for jd so don't think it will be a prob. Fi is the way forward. So smooth

I should of specified trail/motorcross bikes are what im on about.

I herd that as well Ricky. Does a little cover really stop the problem?
I've seen the posts from ktm saying how to try an seal them an doing a few other things to keep them running.
So ktm know they have a problem, seems a bit amature to not seal the things themselves (they are meant for mud and wet conditions)

But if that really does sort it I wouldn't have a problem buying one

I'm on my second Husaberg FE390, 97 hours, not had any TPS probems at all. But did have some recent problems of cough stalling, cutting out etc, turned out to be a dirty injector, had that out and cleaned, replaced all the fuel filters plus installed an additional filter that KTM now supply as an update and she runs like new now.
