Hi I bought one from Hedgehogs in Barnstaple for taking my daughters out (8 and 10), and found it really good apart from one thing:

The rider cannot feel the pillion atall, no idea if they are OK or acutually if they are still on the back. The benifit of holding onto my jacket is you are aware if they are happy or present.

From the pillions point of view, if there arms are not long enough to get a good hold, it is better, my wife doesnt like it though.

Number One grandson (bike mad Mackenzie!) is now big enough for his feet to reach the pillion pegs on the TTR which apparently is the legal requirement for a pillion.

I am very interested in these belts/handles. Anyone got a link to a pic please?

They seem to start around a tenner, mixed reviews (check out amazon as well as the 'bay')
I just fancy trying it out, if they inspire confidence (just for a first few tentative rides) it might be worth it

I see - they are handles for the pillion to hold onto. I thought there might be a strap to go around the pillion so they don't fall off confuse

I have one. OH liked it in the days when i could offer her a pillion ride.
