Black on light blue / grey much better thank you.  Our eyes were never designed to work with negative contrast.  The title headers of black on mud are still very indistinct, alright if you know they are there, but for newcomers or those using small screens very difficult to see

Still not much fun on a Blackberry. The header picture is of little value and fills the screen where normally I'd be reading the first post is it really needed? you've seen it once why would you need to see it again?

Colours better.

I seem to need to log in every time I visit which is a bit of a pain.

Perhaps a longer delay before needing to log in again would be in order.

Please.

I recall an option in the Login box to remain logged in - I think...

I have a bookmark like this and when I click on it I just go straight in with no login biggrin

What phone are you using Delvey91?
It's not much help that it works on some and not others, can you delete it it has no practical purpose.
Constructive help would be appreciated rather than just appearing to say it's OK on mine Admin.

Yep that's better thanks, how much does it cost to get rid of the advertising banner at the top?

That's for gold service, it's all based on contributing on the forum and according to how many posts are made, so I reckon about £15 - £20 per month

OK can you reccomend an ad blocker for IE- nope, I don't use it as I don't regard it as safe.biggrin

I just did a quick google of "IE adblocker" and loads came up.

and what ever the browser is you get on Blackberry please.- again nope, I have no idea and suspect there aren't, not freely available anyway as Blackberry is a tad restrictive.

Are there any side effects of having an ad blocker? - Yes, sometimes they can stop websites from working properly but as long as you bare in mind that you are running one you can dissable it or make that specific site an exepmtion.

answers above - sorry I couldn't be of more help.

You could try firefox or Chrome on your PC (which are better than IE anywaywink).

Cheers, Rich
I think I'll just imagine the ads don't exist rather than add complications, I don't recall noticing them until Mark changed the forum around.

Love the new look. It does not seem to cause any issues on my laptop.
"Nice and fresh" ..... as they say !
Cannot help with the phone issue, as mine is still steam powered.

I can still read everything plain and clear...that means I'm still alive. I've got a mate who may not be able to for much longer. Get a life, all those who are complaining about the new look.

If you want to block off banners and backgrounds etc in FF and most other browsers just right click what you don't want to see, select image info or in some cases page info, select media and tick the box for block images from blah blah whatever, job done!

Unfortunately the ad banner you can temporary remove but it will return as its rotated through different addresses, but the mud background or TRF banner you can turn off if you are having trouble veiwing
