Honda C90 got one :)

Hi I am looking for a C90. Anybody know off a reliable, cheap one knocking about. If possible a local one so I can go and have a look. Cheer Nick.

Good luck finding a bike, the ebay ones can be very expensive now, I guess they are getting rarer.

However when you find one, if you need a replacement seat cover we had half a dozen made in Vietnam to bring home with us.

Shipping it to Mongolia and then riding it home. Leaving the UK 14th July home about the 1st Sept. Originally was buying out there, but this has turned into a no go for documentation reasons.

Hi Jacks thanks... seen that one, but it is the 6vt version with a different engine so it's a no go.

A guy at work went to a Auto Jumble at Hatherleigh either last week or the one before looking for midget bits and a guy was selling three C90s said he had seen him at Newton Abbot Auto Jumble as well, will speak to him at work tomorrow and see if he has any more details.

But It made me chuckle (no offence to anyone who has a GS BTW as I have a HD and he took the mick out of them last time wink)

RE: Honda C90 got one :)

Consider the 90cc cub model for every day use. It's the one with square headlight. Electric or kick as you will probably end up kicking it more! Check under rear mudguard for rot as all rot there but can be welded quit easily. Biggest problem is where down tube from handlebars enters main body as can rot if stood and near impossible to fix. I welded my back end and was good for years until frame snapped under seat. You will have a clue from removing rear wheel and pocking a light up chasis hole! Also removing side plastics and looking in.

Have to say its brilliant for every day use. Commuted for years on it and always goes rain or shine provided remember to check oil regularly. Do chain it to a lamppost though as engines unfortunately fit in pit bikes. Oh and walk away from a modded foreign engines swapped one. You can't beat the Honda engineering.

Good luck with your hunt.
