Stop fiddling with it and keep it standardconfuseno never had a problem with minesmile larger tanks are like rocking horse s**t on ebay unless you buy a new one from the US around 200 to 300 pound which is why mines still standard. apparently pre 2006 tank is bigger but your standard rad guards don't fit quiet right or you need the earlier guards

Is that what you think it should be, or what you think it is as standard?

I've read on this press release site that it is only 7.2 litres..confuse

How is looking for a large tank fiddling? Lol You guys with the ktm's should know all about that, you've done more fiddling than the entire coronation street cast. Saying that, I did fit a heavier flywheel today!

My rides are often 120 miles in a day but there are places on route called garages where you open your wallet and get your money out and fill upwink

Costs me around seven pounds to fill up once I have gone on to reserve so I reckon my tank is only the 7.2 litre one

Just spoke to a mate with a 08 reg x like mine standard is 7.2 litres he runs an earlier tank which is bigger but the rad guards don't quiet fit right.

Paul, Mark and Rich; lovin' the mirror banter, pure comedy biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

If Ray's gettin' 80/100 miles then im gunna assume they have the same size tanks and 'maybe' Brownie's bike need a bit of jet fiddlin'? Too rich? Guessing from past experiences though Brownie won't wanna fiddle with the bike? hmmawwwink

update on my miles per gallon issue on my bike, ITS BECAUSE ITS ONLY A 7 LTR TANK!!!!!!!

just been up to see ray and his crf has a much bulkier tank, prob a 10/12 ltr one,
so guess i will have to do a bit more fiddling and get a bigger tank!
