Something as a starter bike for a seven year old.  Must be serviceable but do not want to spend too much in case he doesn't take it up.

Pw50 may be a bit small for a 7 year old, you may be better with a pw80. You can restrict movement in the throttle to control the speed.

Even better look into getting an 'oset', silent controllable and less intimidating than a petrol bike, 3 sizes available for tots to teenagers. My lad has just turned 3 and has been riding one for six months, it's scarey how good he is on it but that's down to bike time, as he can ride it anywhere without upsetting the oldies he does, down the park, on the seafront and in the skatepark (yes he does most of the ramps). And with a very strong secondhand market you really can't go wrong.

 Wow, looks like someone has done a beautiful job on that bike. I would imagine it should be quick with a Fisie engine. May a little much for him to begin on, unless I can restrict speed.

 Not seen these before. A 16 24v would be just the job. How long do the batteries last? Silent has got be the way forward.I want one too Watch out oldies in park .... Electric oldie on the rampage lol

Battery lasts about 3 hours on a charge, a mate of mine is a distributor in exeter if you need a contact.

Have s look on YouTube to see what these kids can do on them, it's just awesome.
