This week it is Beer Regatta Week, and its the 100th Aniversary regatta so Beer is going to be busy this week. Tuesday and Thursday, Beer Street will be closed from the Dolphin to the Anchor. The little car park where most people park bikes is taken over by the Scouts and the only parking to be found will be at Beer Head car park
However the Health and Safety Gestapo have relented and once again barrel rolling races will take place on Tuesday night, But in a the sprit of a good council EDDC sent a team along and removed the sign advertising the event from the turning to Beer at Hangmans Stone.
Regatta Day is Thursday, so if you do come don't expect a sensible answer from anyone as the entire village is Pssed from about midmorning onwards
