3.30 am cat burglar 0 home owner 1

I'm sure some of you have had the unpleasant experience of being burgled and had precious things stolen from you.

I have been having unwanted visitors in my garden trying to take my bikes/Valuables, so consequently i have set a few nasty traps and made it has hard as possible to get in. The only means having to  break something making lots of noise. This time the cheeky ----er put his hand through the letterbox and tried to open my door. Little did he know that he'd already awoken 20 minutes me earlier trying the same thing and i was waiting the other-side of the door this time when i heard him come back.

He had the shock of his life when he put his hand through again as id grabbed it and pulled him into the door trying to break his arm biggrin .

The sneaky swine had a put what looked like cooking oil on his arm to squeeze through, after a small struggle he slipped through my hands but im sure he was grazed on the arm.

Police turned up and as he didn't get in there is not really a lot they can do.

7 hours later I'm riding along Prince Charles Rd Exeter i saw somebody i knew/ex neighbour so stopped to talk to him, and low and be-hold he had grazes up his arm nono. I asked the T--t what he'd been up-to acting if nothing was unusual and he dropped himself right in it.

Seeing red i dropped my bike on the deck and went for him but being younger and more agile than me he managed to get away again not to be found, but now i know who it is, oh dear what a very silly man.

Now I'm quite easy going person but seeing how it's upset my family that's bang out of line and trying to get at my prize possessions too, and so some poetic justice is & will help this poor chap along to the A & E very soon. This will be 1 retired burglar of the street.

Sorry for being a bit long winded but it just go's to show you don't always know who you are talking too ??

Mark

Yep there is nothing like having a few Land Sharks behind the door ready and willing to chew whatever bits of unwelcome scrotes they can lay their teeth on

Glad you found the culprit.

Did he actually admit that he'd be attempting to break into a house, or did he have a slightly different version - like "I locked myself out of my own house" type thing?

Why didn't he realise it was your house he was breaking into if he was your neighbour, is he really that dumb?

"I feared for the well-being and safety of myself and family" should get you off most things.

A true story this. In a previous life a colleague was called to a house in Exeter for what transpired to be a child molesting case.
A so called friend offered to baby sit a 7 yr old girl so that the parents could have an evening out, the regular child minder had let them down at short notice.
The film in the cinema wasn't up to expectations so the parents went home early. When they arrived home they found the so called friend in bed with the little girl. As you might expect from caring parents the father erupted into a serious assault on this guy. The father then went down stairs and boiled a kettle, the water from which ended up on the offenders nuts. The outcome was that the initial assault was justified but the swollen bollocks was not, hence the father was done for grievous bodily harm.
Premeditated is the key word here.
The offender got no sympathy when being treated at the RD&E. What a surprise.

Yeah the usual excuses totally out of it with drink and drugs and  didn't no what he was doing (yeah right), but i have found out different as he's been trying my place for a while. Some of his mates obviously hold no loyalty to him.

Lets just say justice will be paid after what i have found out about the scumbag this weekend, if not for me but for some of the other victims that are to scared to do anything.

I will be tucked up to a nice family meal somewhere with CCTV.

Devon Wrinklie

I know the incident you mentioned and its true.

Transportation to a strict Islamic country like Saudia Arabia, if he tried it there they would lop his hand off after Friday prayers. I dont agree with Shiria Law but we could certainly use bits of it here, Public flogging, stoning, and the great spectator sport there Beheading. Think that would keep the theiving scrotes in order.  And no social security, No hand = no work = no money and you starve no use going to the government as begging is illegal as well.

Also forgot No Drugs problem, thats a visit to the headsman for the first offence

Had a parcel delivered today, when opened there was lager and flowers accompanied by a grovelling letter, its the biggest a-- licking letter I have ever received. The bull that was in there was unreal, I'm sure you can imagine.

He has even offered me compensation for the trouble, thought about £500 and that can go towards my daughters driving lessons or a car, but decided he'd probably go stealing from someone else.

Im considering making him pay the money back to an elderly lady that he conned money from to start with

What do you guys think I should do for a fitting punishment apart from visiting A & E for an op or 2 ?

He obviously has that rare condition conscience, take the compensation and also warn him he might not be so lucky in the future, i do believe that the decent people in this world are fighting back and they know it.

He'll do it again if you take the money, it's got to be a A&E job as the police are friggin powerless these days.

I got some very good mates, who at a tenner each with tie him to a tree, break all him limbs and leave him there..........mind you, you'd have to pay their expenses as they're based in Manchester!

So what punishment did you decide on - standing in the corner for an hour or writing lines?

A friend of mine had the same thing and found out who it was and where he lived, they waited for him in a car to walk past them and they grabbed him, put a bag over his head and bundled him into the boot, drove to Dartmoor and made him dig a grave and told him to get into it. Then just left him there and drove off. I personally think you are better leaving him naked.
