First time I thought someone had thrown a rock into the river when I heard the large splash.

Next time I saw the flash of silver through the air, spinning, triple twist with Pike as it took the fly.

Saw more than a couple of dozen quite large flying anti gravity fish in less than a quarter of an hour at the point where the river Bovey enters the Teign before I got bored and went on my way. Forget fly rod and line, just hold the frying pan out.

Nice one Pete - lovely to see nature in action!

Just for fun, test your reactions and see if you can freeze frame with the fish in the air. I failed disbelief
