Hi jt and everyone else, sorry camping down in Cornwall until the weekend with limited wifi access, so just catching up now, I'll have the X11 please, I'll call early next week as have no phone signal at all. Thanks for all the replies, I might pick up one of those IRC tyres as well, cheers Steve.

Good grip on the dirt. Dual compound tyre with slightly stiffer sidewalls and soft tread pattern. Softer than the X11.

Appalling handling on the road. Squirms about as if punctured, crabs sideways on roundabouts. Made me feel queasy with less than 18psi in it. Lasted only a few months.

Trials Competition Use Only printed on the sidewall.

Good tyre? Not for trail riding.

Thanks for the info on the IRC, needed this tyre for the following weekends Foxwell enduro in Cirencester Park, run by the Swindon MCC, regs state trials tyre only, used an X11 earlier in the year at their previous event, worked well, but now that one is pretty worn out, as have used it on the trails around Sidmouth.

Ta Steve

Well it's never going to be good on the road. I found it awesome using it for its purpose tho.

Thanks to JT for the tyre, fitted this afternoon, so all ready for Sunday biggrin

Was a toughy to get on though, trials tyres normally a piece of XXXX to fit, but this one was like putting a 17" tyre on an 18" rim, perhaps a tubeless version and therefor tighter?

Pete, when I get back from Hols I will need to replace the tyres on my trusty old XR, what would you recommend (and do you, or anyone know of any part worns? biggrin  )??

Will need them for the 10 Tors. Noticed what's on at the mo are somewhat slippy when marking out the Hare and Hounds at Decoy.

Cheers fella

Matt
