Me and 5 friends are green laning for 3 days this weekend, our first pit stop will be newton abbot. We will be at 202-007 about lunch time any advice where to get some food nearby, nothing gourmet. The second day we hope to have lunch in or near ivybridge, close to 202-154. Cheers for any help. steve
The closest one would be to take a right and left out of 007 onto the main road. Head towards Ashburton for about 1/2 mile. The 'Dartmoor Halfway Inn' is on your right. I seem to remember there used to be a snack van in the layby opposite the entrance to Seale Hayne. Not sure if it is still there though. That one is the other direction from 007, and about the same distance.

If you carry along the Ivybridge to Wrangaton road in a NW direction from the bottom of Woo Hoo about three or four hundred meters go into the industrial estate and there's a café in one of the units that does good food, if you fancy the heart of Ivybridge, then try the Duke of Cornwall pub or a fellow trail rider (I'm afraid he's French and owns an ORANGE thing) owns the riverside café in Glanville's mill of the main road or allsorts of takeaways down the main street hope this helps
I hope Robs bike is ready Steve. Sorting my shock out Friday fingers crossed........... I had a go on the Fingle Bridge lane and can honestly say it was superb! a big climb and some really quick sections up the side of the forest.

Now you see why we nick named it Woo Hootry it in the rain up hill it gets very interesting not sure you mean 170 though as its pretty boring
It was another really rocky one very close by. I didn't have it planed on my route, so can't remember the lane number? We were to wet to be messing around up and down lanes by then. Didn't stop for lunch as we were soaked and just pushed on all the way to Cornwall for our evening accommodation. Recommend the pub, Tavistock arms hotel. The landlord had a big drying room in the basement and let us dry our kit there, nice and dry by the morning ready for more riding.
