whats the difference??

Trying to work out what the difference is apart from price the Honda CRF250XRL and Honda CRF250X

Both have lights and electric start and i'm baffled??confuse

I think the xrl version was the one homologated for road use. Has stand, ignition etc.

And aluminium tank that apparently costs Honda UK over £500 alone. As Wheely says the CRF250XRL is homologated for road use ie has brake lights switches horn speedo etc that the standard 250x doesn't have. It is considerably cheaper to buy a standard 250x and put on the road kit yourself or even getting the dealer to do it for you
