I see the Honda let Barreda Bort down yet Coma on the KTM is still going strong biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Rich, your very quick to jump ships. I hope the Beta won't ever let you down winksmile

Don't worry Geoff. In the end he could not do without a KTM so now has a 2011 300EXC which he drowned once and then fell off and hurt his shoulder. Apart from that he loves it.

I only said it made me chuckle and it does target the free ride, I'm still enjoying the outspan team.

Yep the Freeride is getting some bad press at the moment - the 250 2T has big hot starting issues (and of course no kickstart for when the battery dies).

I did sit on 1 at JDs last week - I love how small my own KTM200 feels, but the Freeride was so narrow it was rediculous.

Problems aside, think they would probably be one of the most capable trail riding bikes you could get. Not on my list though.

wouldn't say im a convert to KTM but after having my crf250x, ec250 and wr450f bought my 400exc of a mate for a good price, wasn't looking for a KTM just came up at the right price, must say I like it, seems a good balance of everything im looking for, the CRFs still my favourite of the 4 but maybe because I had it first, learnt laneing on it, took everything I through at it and more, many badgers and never mist a beat,  again like the ktm, nice bike

PS a mates got a freeride, loves it apart from the seat ; )

Delvy's recent FB post displays this frustration rather well (not sure if this link will work as posting this on my phone. Warning, foul language .... but it's funny biggrin)

I expect Rich T4 told him to take the kicker off to save weight biggrin

Ace vid, sounded just like my mate Troy boy from the valley smile - that bike didn't sound right when it was running hmm sounded like it was running with the choke on......

Haha I think having a lighter breakfast would achieve a similar weight loss! There must be more to it than that...I hope so anyway!
