for those of you who haven't seen my fb page I had an accident at work on my table saw Thursday morning witch meant me having an opp yesterday afternoon. The end of my index finger was deemed a right of as the bone was shatterd so that's gone now and they had to reconnect tendons that were cut so im hoping to get full movement back. then they used plastic surgery to close them up.
all simpathy and pi$$ taking is appreciated as it will help to pass the days.
Hi Lee, well that's a pain in the, er, finger! How much of it have you lost? Will it be any use for braking/ nose-picking or will you have to train up another one?
Hopefully we'll be able to see it soon so we can stand around and say Ooh, Aah or Yecchhhh as appropriate.
You need to play on the injury now and get your wife to help you in the shower, so every cloud blah blah!

I dont know how has gone but i think about 1/3 so no good for nose picking, but i explained to the surgeon that they are my braking fingers but im not sure he knew what i was on about
**** mate sorry to hear about the accident , hope the opp went well and you regain the full movement of you fingers, anything you need help with give us a shout.

I had my cast off today and got to see my fingers for the fist time post opp. I was planning on posting a pic but it really isn't very pretty and don't want to offend any one.
