Look + Learn - EVERY TRAIL RIDER SHOULD WATCH!

Key notes - Responsible use

Adopt a lane + fix it

                 Ride responsibly

                 Green lanes for all

Lets fix them instead of closing all of them, some will be closed, some will be one way

HERE WATCH AND LEARN SOMETHING

Mr Ollie (Bear) Cooke and I went to the Isle of Man last weekend.

Their system does seem excellent, very motorcycle inclusive, lanes are most pleasant.

One or two are REALLY technical, you might not get up them but you sure as hell are going to get down them!!

The whole island seems most "motor" orientated, possibly due to many TT related oldies retiring to the island.

Apparently, needs corroboration, the antis have a rather unexpected supporter re NO bikes - Jeremy Clarkson!

He has his funny moments but he does appear an arrogant p***k.

Just my opinion, Tee hee.

Yeah take jezzer aside for the moment, like most famous people they want fame when it suites

Lets get back on topic as i truly believe this is a good model for DTRF >< Devon PROW to follow and possibly improve on it - things are progressing quicker than you think

Its going to be based on trust and back scratching for one another if we're going to see improvements within the shire, some great possibilities with a good selection of ideas too

This needs to be channelled at the next meeting

Bloody good vid though - loads of people could benefit from watching that especially in the peak district for all users and authorities (Not wishing to bring that subject up)

A sensible balance, let's hope our government will do the same, rather than listen to the anti's and shut the lot. Making user groups responsible for the lanes? well don't the dtrf do loads of this already and I'm sure if we were given a choice, we would all volunteer to help rather than have them shut, I would. Just my thought's. It might give wacky and pop's an army of helpsmilesmilesmile

Ps

Love the signage

Good to see a proper grown up discussion by intelligent adults for a change; sets a perfect example  for how things should be done!

Compared to The Peaks, where their Rights Of Way policy is run entirely by a bunch of emotional NIMBY's furious furious

And like Steve said, love the signage, would be good to see signage like that here in Devon smile
