Tubliss

Any one got any? Think importing from the states is the next option.

Loads cheaper from the States.
Even allowing for import duty, carriage etc, still worked out £25 cheaper each, bought 3 no.
The deals, they will match what you want.
Very obliging.
Tubliss, best thing ever since they invented the wheel. Lidl been knocking out jollop for pushbike wheels, enough for a motorbike wheel. (speak from experience)
Knocked small hole in side of trials tyre, before jollop, ran dead flat for several miles, absolutely no drama whatsoever. Added jollop, sealed a treat.
To put it in perspective, rock steps outside Widecombe, beginning of the bypass, tyres at 8psi, can just be ridden up, bang bang etc, percussion puncture on every rock with tubes, thick or thin, no drama.
Putting on etc is a new tecnique! Like mooses, bit of an a---------le first time, less the second etc.
Best tool, loads of water with small amount of detergent in bug gun, keep everything wet and soaped.
A bit messy but you wont do it without!
Blow up tubliss to approx 30psi, just enough to start the seal process, then blow up main tyre to approx 60 psi, that will push tyre out properly, then finally blow tubliss to 100 psi.
Check tyres, if not new, common sense stuff, any damage to tyre bead, ie chunk missing, can be repaired with sykaflex. Basically the two surfaces that must seal need to be good.
A moose type tyre frame is more than handy, not certain I would want to do without. Spoke buddys are really helpful, ie keep bead of main tyre within rim well until last bit of tyre has popped home.
Care needed taking off, easy to puncture tubliss inner tube if you dont pay attention. (No I havent - yet)
Old trick with a lip belted onto end of tyre lever so that you pull lever out until it catches the rim, ie not pinching tube.
Lesson over.
