Classic Scramble last weekend, Berrynarbor, North Devon

A few of us DTRF lads rode last weekend.

Here are the videos of the twinshock class C and combined C/D races....

And from Kerry's point of view.......

That looks like a whole load of fun!
What is the bike of choice?
Might just have a go at that.

Kerry was riding a 1980 Maico 250, Dan was on a 1981 Yamaha 250, Chris was on a 1981 Kawasaki 250, Pete was on a 1980 Yamaha 465 and I was on a 1977 Husqvarna 250 CR. The twinshock classes at this event were based on ability and not engine capacity.

It is brilliant fun and a good craic.

Next event is in Dorset on 14 Sept and again on 28 Sept with a Devon Classic event in October date TBC.

Are the rules and regs for the bikes on line anywhere please Craig?

PS Great videos - I can see why Jerry has got all enthusiastic - pity he is a bit too old to take that level of exertion and excitement wink

The AMCA has limited information on it's website, but for the twinshock class, drum brakes, two rear shocks (though single shock bolted directly to the swing arm is acceptable) and air cooled. Also, be a bike of the 70's and early 80's and it can run at these events. Minimum age of rider is 16 with no upper limit.
