October TRAIL magazine

Includes an excellent article on lane clearing by our very own John Harvey. Entertaining, informative and brilliantly written - thanks John biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

A big thank you to everyone who helped out that day, hopefully the write up gave a good account of what was achieved  and also some long overdue public praise for both Ian and Pops worship.gifworship.gifworship.gifworship.gifworship.gif

I was hopeful that our group photo would have made the front cover but would never ever thought we'd lose out to some plastic Lego bricks biggrinbiggrinbiggrin confuse There was some interesting editing with the group picture... shame that Steve's TTR for some reason wasn't shown teevee.gif and the separate picture I sent of the finger post road sign was grafted onto the photo in a strange position?

Once again thanks to everyone and hopefully it's a tiny step in the right direction.

Cheers John

Used to be that all TRF members received an e-mail with a link to Trail.

Then there was some more trail riding related info included in the e-mail to wade through to find the link

Then the spam overtook the link, and pushed it off the e-mail entirely. Idiots.

Now you have to go to TRF.org where there is a way of downloading it, if you can find it now they have got an 8 year old to revamp the site to make it more appealing to his classmates.

The TRF National Forum has a page for Members to download Trail here

http://www.trf.org.uk/members-area/trail-magazines.html

But it took a bit of searching to find it on their "new" set up. no

Oh yes - and you have to log in as it's only for paid up TRF members.

The fact that I come out with lots of pathetic excuses about sat navigation chargers doesn't mean I don't pay my dues. I am a fan of thinking about limiting access to rides for non members.....

Pleased to hear it Wacky, but I unsubscribed from the TRF e-mailings when I found they were sending me spam e-mails advertising privately run events dressed up as National TRF Rides amongst other trail riding related(ish) event stuff but omitting to include the link to Trail, which was the only bit I was interested in.

I have asked the communications and PR directors if it is possible to have an e-mail which just gives a link toTrail without the adverts and they don't want to know about it and suggest I go to TRF.org and download the magazine.

Mario's way or the highway.

Good job I know plenty of highways...

 See your point now Pete

Perhaps Craig could be persuaded to add a link to the DTRFG newsletter e-mail?
