THIS IS NOW CANCELLED DUE TO LANDOWNER NOT WANTING ANY WORKS CARRIED OUT furious

HOPEFULLY WE CAN RESCHEDULE - SORRY BUT WE WILL RAISE THIS ONE AGAIN THANKYOU ME 

 

 

As the title says smile

lovely lane to ride and its a shame to see it so overgrown yet again 

So please could you help out for a few hours on the day above, i also believe there is a ride out after the said operation 

I guess to aid the ride out afterwards it had better be a 09.30 start 

Please post your interests and loyalty to the Devon TRF and make a difference 

thank you very much indeed fellow trail riders 

This very same lane was cleared last year on the 23rd June, can post some more info if required on location - just ask wink

i found it and its 1 hour 40 minute drive from my house ill still come along i live plymouth. how long of a ride out after been wanting to ride that way for a while now

 Good man - well done mate!

Not totally sure on the ride time i guess it will depend on the number of helpers clearing the lane to how long that takes too how long there is left in the day to ride 

you will have to ask the others who are riding

Think Hoc is planning the ride out afterconfuseconfuse Maybe a couple of hours or so, taking in TWITCHEN!!!!!! Wacky and Baz you would be welcome to park at mine and ride there.

Numpty's, why can't they see we are trying to help. Whole politics stuff, but we must stay resilient and work around that crapfuriousfurious P3 will help.

 Could you do me a favour Steve and take some photos of the lane in question please mate, maybe try and get something in the foreground to give it some scale - bike without no.plate showing details of reg, someone trying to walk through the overgrowth without showing their face if they don't want to smile

Need to send it to PROW to prove a point wink

could always have a short vid of people trying to ride through lane

8.30am (not to early for you boy's?)  for breakfast at zuki's then! Give us time to get it and get going. Fuel up before please, as I do not know if will we passing a petrol station. Planning about 60 mile run. Hope to be finished by 2pm ish

75 mile route planned, hope it will be OKconfusewink 30ish lanes and a bit of road workcry will be checking out 180-102 for a photo opportunity biggrinbiggrin. Zukis 8.30 for fry up, or 9am start at zukis. Breakfast should have settled by the time we get to twitchenevileyeevileye And back to the kings arms for some cider by 2pmsmilesmile

I had a great day out in them there lanes todaysmile Good company, have not laughed that much for ages. Not sure of the lane number, but set you lot of first so I could watch the carnage and you all did not disappoint biggrinbiggrinbiggrin All I could see was 3 riders down in front of me and I had to skip around you all while laughing so much I could hardly see where I was goingbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin.

I done two delboy's today and believe they were both caught on cameranono. Hope you will post some video footage of the horse rider, I think he was disappointed we did not try to cross the rivercrycry.

Will post the stats up later. Rich if you did not have a puncture, we would have had time to get some ciderdisbelief Next timewinkwinkwink. Thanks again for the company and was impressed how everyone done TWITCHEN, but only down todayhmmhmm, up next timewinkwink. bike breaker was in full flow of water and is always a nice lane to sort of finish withblankstareblankstare.
