Gas gas cami 250

hi everyone, has anyone got one? Or does anyone know what they are like, I have a friend that's very interested in one but he lives in Hampshire, he can't find any info either. Looks a good little piece of kit, perfect for green laning.

All the details HERE

It's a lot heavier than the Pampera due to the 4T engine.

Seem to remember there was a bloke on Facebook (possibly Green Lane Crew group) who bought one, broke it on the first ride, and couldn't get spares.  I think he patched it up and sold it on eBay.  Quite a lot of ranting was involved.  Speak to Thor in Bodmin, they stock them.

I know its nice to be different but some of the lesser manufacturers have difficulty keeping up with demand for spares going back over the years, just as our old mate kerry who had a nightmare getting the right parts for his gas gas when the engine let go !! i am not saying dismiss this bike all together just ensure you can get the spares. I have only recently purchased a old Husky twin shock, if HVA Factory did not exist so i can buy nearly all the spares i need, it would not even got look in at the wallet stage.

If you have the money buy new and replace every 2 years, that what i would do.

my mate had a 2013 gasgas ec250r which was a 4t it was a fantastic bike. thor in bodmin was where he got it and they said they can sort the spares . but it got stolen before it broke less than 12 months old

Looks a good "trail " bike to me , its not supposed to be a enduro bike can't compare it with the EC 's .I can't see there being any problem with spares ,now if you started hammering it around a enduro track every weekend you might have issues. Beta xtrainer 300 now that does look interesting 300 2t oil injection yes please! no more fannying around with little oil bottles in the petrol stations ! One of the best things about my ktm 200 egs

That wk does look really well made, and for the price it's a bargain! Not sure I would have one though! As spares etc could be a nightmare.

Will be interesting to see what there like in a couple of years time, they might really be a bargain then! Apparently a 2006 crf450x copy probably explains how the dealer can fit a yoshi race pipe as a upgrade, doubt yoshi would make a system just for WK. You'll probably see all the second hand ones with crf graphics eventually! Engine spares could be difficult but the guy on the video said they have a good stock, everything else probably aftermarket honda crf would fit.

youd be a mentalist to buy a Chinese bike.

Made by poorly paid workers who prob sleep on the production line!

Will be worth jack S***e as soon as you get it,

Go to a major print show in europe every 2 years, chinese press copies everywhere

they look cheap and nasty

Who do you think buys all the recycled cans we so diligently

separate out of our rubbish.....

Im with Doug on this one.

2014 14 PLATE WK BIKES RX450.  A serious and very well priced alternative to a WR450 or DRZ450.  Read the reviews these are a seriously built machine and ride well.  The odometer is showing only 627 miles which can't be warranted as I have not owned it from new.

So 627 miles and and the 2nd owner is now selling hmm and its lost pretty much 50% of its value. Whats that £3 per mile/£300 per month in depreciation? Ouch!!! - not saying its no good but certainly factors to consider before purchase perhaps blankstare

Just what I was thinking, why would you sell a bike for half it's value in one yearcrycry

They have been going new for 3.5k as they have discounted them a bit!
Loosing money when new is a given! Still a lot less lost than a Ktm though!
I brought a new multistrada gt last year for a " discounted" £16k, had so many problems with it, when I traded it in this year the most I got was £10k as no one wanted to touch it as part ex! It's back for sale for £13k, good luck with that! If they are giving a warranty with it they will earn bugger all!!!
Not saying that the WK is great or not but everything is relevant , it's a cheap unknown bike so you won't get loads for it when it comes to sell, but also you can buy it new and keep it a while, then it's a bargin! There's loads of enduro bikes for sale that you have no idea how they have been ridden and treated! They maybe only a couple of years old but they could have had a very hard life, who knows!
As for Chinese bikes being crap? I have no idea, nor I bet have most people, everything is slated when new, especially when built somewhere like China , hang on, most of the parts for all motorbikes and cars are made there! So everything can't be crap!
I have my own business and know lots of stuff gets made there, rebranded and sold here, I have a soft furnishing business , nearly all the shutters that are fitted in the Uk come from China, the quality is brilliant as is the service. I would love to buy them from a uk based company but unfortunately most people don't want to pay for them!!!

Exactly what my dad said when he saw his first honda, what a load of crap!
Then he couldn't believe it had no oil leaks and you could Rev it flat out on the stand and things didn't fall off!
Things change, that was only the 60s, it's not that long ago, by the 80s honda were the best brand to own!
Now honda is regarded as the old faithful brand!
I would watch out for Chinese brands in the next few years, yes they are copying now, but it won't be long until they will have some cracking bikes, that WK has been sold under loads of different names around the world, and lots of reports of a lovely strong bike which is great for trail riding, OK maybe it's not quite a Ktm, husaberg or honda but then I wouldn't need a full on £7-£8k race bred machine to do lanes on!

I don't think there would be so many dealers taking the WK brand on if they were really ****e. Like I said it will be interesting to see what there like in a few years. Kia and Hyundia were iffy to start with now look at them 5 and 7 year warranties!! F_#k me you'll never get any europeans giving that they'd go scat! Korean and not chinese I know but these types of companys improve so fast. I wouldn't knock it unless I'd seen /tested one.

Good anti theft device!
Dress your CRF up as one of these and no self respecting villain will want to nick it.
