I am guilty of not keeping up with national activity.

We need someone "who knows" to give a summary of the current position. Is Noel around? I like his sensible down-to-earth take on these matters and he seems to have kept the inside line on the shenanigans at HQ.

Is it a case of panic or don't panic Mr Mainwaring?

I am not so sure Doug. We haven't had a Chairman for 3 months and it looks like that may continue unless you know differently?

Also, we are a RoW organisation and we haven't been doing so brilliantly on that front either

When and to who did the survey go out - I for one didn't see it.....Could see this all coming 18 months ago hmm 'Branding', new website, really? is that what the TRF is about like I said last time its being turned into a buisness.

Takes many people years to build something good - but just one or two people can destroy it in no time at all blankstare

Took me a long time to get it...... but a wise old (well has gray hair and beard) trail rider keeps saying - stealth.

I used to ride a bright Orange 2 stroke, wear bright orange matching gear, ride in a group and then post my antics on the web for all to see. Now I ride a nice quiet 4T honda, wear camo gear, go alone or with just one or two others and 'leave no trail' of where I have been wink

'Marketing' and publicity hmm or quietly passing by un noticed - which will keep the lanes open to us for longest I wonder???

I like the idea of stealth it does work respecting the lanes and not riding like idiots!, But.............. here's a problem....... the ANTI'S know all about trail riders and other motorised vehicles on "green lanes" and are doing everything they can to stop us, without the TRF fighting the cause and bringing us all to unit against the anti's who is going to stop them??? They will not go away, we need to be as strong as a group (and work together and with other groups) to stop them.

There are a lot of people in the TRF and DTRF doing good work for our ROW.

Lets hope they can sort out this mess, as it could affect us all beyond repair cry .
