You get 4 in a set. You only need 2!, so 2 spares!

Make sure that when you have strapped down that you put a HD bungie between each strap on the metal bit in the middle, over the front mudguard.

That way if you hit a big bump the straps will not come unhooked.

Ive seen some ridiculously over engineered systems of tying down - you just dont need it.

25 years of thousands of miles, so probably OK.

The only time when Ive lost a bike is when I was helping a friend out, who had broken down, and didnt put the bungie on!!!

Not the friends fault, mine for being LAZY.

Good hooks on trailer are the loop bit of benelli clamps, welded on.

Some people like to strap the back wheel to the trailer, OK if you must, but Ive never had one jump out.

You wont do it cheaper or faster.

I use these. The spring clips mean that the hook won't accidentally release over a bump (no need for a bungy!). Having nearly lost my CBR6 off a trailer due to it unhooking on a bumpy road, I'd now use nothing else. Good price too.

Here was my recommendation a while back.

These guys are excellent and 1-handed operation makes sole-loading/unloading a complete breeze. Use them in the van now and its 20s and all done.

Just picked mine up from storage and had to put in garden so could easily be tempted.
It has 3 channels, but only ever taken 2, not sure if 3 would fit. New whells and tyres fitted about £125, its in Oke

The straps are fine to use but if you want to ensure they dont come unhooked its a good idea to also use carbiners which make it quick easy and very secure. Some second hand ones will do like ebay item 261867243182 . I have found this works perfectly and simple to use without the worry.

There you go.... has a ramp too but forgot to put it in the pic. Slightly confused as it's sitting on its side on the trolley to get it into the garden.
