Can anyone recommend a battery booster (jump starter) that actually works please?

I got one (now understand what it was given to me no) that I bought a quite a new expensive battery for but it doesn't work and I can't fathom out why.

Anyways, time is short and I need a working one by Monday.

Any first-hand recommendations on a unit that someone has used and works properly please?

Ta muchly

Brian

Sorry if I got the wrong name disbelief

It's a biggish free-standing unit with its own battery and jump leads for clamping on the the terminals of a dead car battery to get it started.

Summat like this

At short notice probably a Sealey booster pack from Part Service in Marsh Barton.

My experience - they all work, provided correct size for relevant vehicle and internal cells not knackered.
If they do not, then suspect bad earth, battery terminals, cable attachment within battery clamp etc.
Even starter motor bearings - armature rubbing within field windings etc.
Check on another vehicle - just in case.
