For any one interested Devon free weelers are doing the Honiton sausage and cider festival Friday the 1st and Saturday the 2nd of May. They will be selling tickets on the gate this year and it sounds like allot of improvements has been made since last year's show. all in aid of a good cause. It will be at the current Honiton show ground.
Sounds good but owing to who its in aid of doubt I will support which is a shame cause its a good 'idea'..... If someone offered you £10,000 not once - but 2 years in a row you would at least have the common decency to respond to an E mail would you not? - Ah yes but the mail may not have been received I hear you cry? Quite so which is why I then went to the founders house to check, his wife took my details my phone number and address which I'm sure she could remember as its only 4 doors away Finally I spoke direct to the groups fundraiser at the time and sent him the required paperwork - but 'he forgot' and 'missed the deadline'.....
Year 2 against my better judgment I tried again and it was much the same story
So I do find it rather frustrating when I see such events rasing cash for a group which could not be arsed to walk 100 yrds up my road in effect to collect £20,000 or at least a good share of it.....Sorry thats a real negative post - Mods no offence if you delete, but It left a very bitter taste in my mouth and as always just spouted out what I felt
Am sure the Cider and Bangers will go down a treat for those less 'twisted and bitter' than I
I agree, seeing how much money was raised last year and most went to the event organisers !! Anyway i have some tickets so would be a shame to waste them. I intend to go late ish on sat to see the sweet black angels.

Wow JT, I did not think these guys was like that. You would think every opportunity to make a ten quid would be worth doing! I almost feel bad now for posting. Sorry to stir bad feelings man. I was gone suggest a bike ride later in the summer to raise a bit more for them but my fire has been damped down a tat! Let's hope the sausages makes up for it.

Don't let one persons bad experiance stop you or anyone supporting what is a good cause bud - thats the point its about the cause not one or two individuals.....
