Pretty much a bomb proof bike. Clean out the carbs, fresh fuel should be ready to go.
Looks like you almost lost a disc dropping into the trailer.

lol - yeh, I was worried about that all the way home. What I should have done is put some air in the front tyre. Doh!

 And boshed the headers disbelief

Looks a tidy bike under the dust and is the right colour for a Honda wink won't be long and there will be a CRF in the Garage instead of the DRZ once you experiance the Honda quality biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

The headers were clear of the trailers' deck, just....

JT... at the start of this year a CRF250X was almost added to the garage as well as my DRZ.wink..... but I just didn't have the time or garage space then so had to walk away. My sights are now set on a Te310 next but it could swing back to the CRF or maybe a WR. 3 bikes is about the right number I think. biggrin

No.3 will have to wait for now though as I've got too much on.

This bike was my mates (which he hadn't used for years) and so I've been trying to tempt him to let her go for a while.

Just waiting on the Service kit to arrive, I want that old oil out before using her.
Also need the MOT but should have that all sorted next week.

Yes please on the carb balancing - I've been reading up & dreading doing that.

lol - just this morning booked it for tomorrow.

Bike is all sorted now, just de-rusting the chrome bits and trying to find the down pipes under the layers of baked on grime and oxidation.
Will tax to start in August, fingers crossed.

I'll tax her to start on Saturday so should be out Saturday or Sunday.

On the way back from the test center I went the long way and opened her up. She is really quick!biggrin
It's gonna take me a few outings to get use to her.wink
