Boots.

I have some Sidi crossfires that are pretty good, I haven't found any trials style boots that are waterproof and have always had to resort to seal skin socks in the winter

Sidi boots with lots of Dubbin and seal skin socks, although once your in over your knees yav ad it anyway.

i have alpinestars toucans, with waterproof trousers worn over the top to stop water splashing in around your leg ive found my feet stay dry even on very wet rides

Done 70 miles today, including the ford at North Bovey and my feet were still dry...........the rest of me however was soaked!

I bought mine with me from up north but I think Go Outdoors sell it.

I spray my boots with a clear silicon spray,

All good tips chaps , thanks .The other thing i have found while looking to buy new boots is that the toe area provides so much protection you can't feel for the gears ! Mike .
